| dc.description | Resumen: Este artículo se centra en otras Celestinas, las posteriores a la original, que florecen, por no decir pululan, en las páginas de libros en prosa, en los versos de poemas, y en los escenarios primitivos pre-lopescos del siglo XVI. Todas pretenden ser un tipo de ‘alter ego’ de la alcahueta más inolvidable de las letras hispánicas. Unas llevan su nombre y otras no, pero lo más importante es que son figuras nacidas en otras mentes creativas que han ideado otros destinos para sus alcahuetas, denominadas “la prole” de Celestina en el título de un fascinante libro de Roberto González Echevarría. Mi propósito no se limita a citar autores y obras, sino que deseo comentar textos con la idea de mostrar una vez más la fuerza ilimitada de la obra original para inspirar y generar siempre nuevas facetas de Celestina vistas por nuevos creadores. | - |
| dc.description | Abstract: This article focuses on other Celestinas, following the original one, flourishing, not to say swarming, in the pages of books in prose, in the verses of poems, and in the early pre-lopescos stages of the sixteenth century. All they intend to be a kind of ‘alter ego’ of the most unforgettable go-between of Spanish letters. Some share her name and others do not, but most importantly they are figures born in other creative minds that have invented other destinations for their go-betweens, called Celestina’s “prole” in the title of a fascinating book by Roberto González Echevarría. My purpose is not limited to cite authors and works, but I want to comment texts with the idea of showing once again the unlimited power of the original work to inspire and generate new facets of Celestina seen by new creators. | - |
