| dc.description | En el presente trabajo se actualizan los resultados de las distintas líneas de investigación que se han establecido para estudiar exhaustivamente el “Mal de los rastrojos” (Fiebre hemorrágia epidémica) del Noroeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires, nueva enfermedad endemo-epidémica que desde 1943 azota dicha zona de la República Argentina.<br /> De las investigaciones etiológicas se concluye que es un virus el agente causal, aunque se insiste en proseguir con el mayor rigorismo científico la línea de investigación leptospirósica.<br /> De los aspectos clínicos se hace un detallado estudio de los distintos períodos y formas clínicos que presenta esta enfermedad. Se señalan, además, la frecuencia y características más salientes de las recrudescencias, recaídas y complicaciones.<br /> En lo referente a las investigaciones del laboratorio- clínico, se analizan los resultados de los estudios efectuados en sangre, orina y médula ósea.<br /> Se destacan a continuación las características más conspicuas de la enfermedad, que conforman el cuadro mínimo para llegar a un diagnóstico precoz y seguro. Se establecen, asimismo los diagnósticos diferenciales con los procesos que en forma endomo-epidémica o esporádica se han visto en esa zona y pueden confundir por su similitud clínica o de laboratorio. Por tratarse de una fiebre hemorrágica, se señalan las diferencias que presenta con respecto a otras fiebres hemorrágicas, observadas en Europa, Asia Oriental y Central, etc.<br /> Los estudios de anatomía patológica destacan las alteraciones necrópticas que, sin ser específicas, son muy típicas de esta enfermedad.<br /> Con respecto al tratamiento, se establecen los fundamentos del mismo y su efectividad, que se traduce en el evidente descenso de los índices de mortalidad, de los últimos brotes epidémicos. | - |
| dc.description | In this works are actualiged the results of the different lines of investigtion that habe been established in orden to study exhaustively the “Mal de los rastrojos” (hemorragic epidemic fever) of tre North west of the province of Buenos Aires, a new endemic-epidemic illnes wich snice 1943 is whipping that zone of the Argentine Republic.<br /> From the etiologic in investigations it is concluided that the casaual agent is a virus, through it is insect in prosecute with the greatest scientiffic rigorismo the leptospirosic inves- tigation line.<br /> A deailled study of the distinct periods and clinic forms that this illness present is made. It is also printed out, the frecuency and more salient characterístics of the recrudescents relapses and complications.<br /> Making reference to the investigation of the clinical laboratory the results of the studies made in blood, uriñe and bone marrow are analized. Then the ilmess’s more conspicuous characteristics that form the mínimum picture to arrive to an early sure diagnosis. The differential diagnosis with the processes that in endemic-epidemic or esporadic ways were seen in this zone and that may confuse because of their clinical, or laboratory similar ring are also established.<br /> As it is an hemorragic fever, the differences that this illness presents in relation to order hemorragic fevers seen in Europe, west and central Asia, etc., are pointed out.<br /> The estudies of the patological anatomy point out the necropatic alterations which thoug no specific are in this illness very tipical.<br /> Whit regard to the treatment its fundamentáis and effectiveness are established, wich can be mortality Índex of the last epidemic outbreak. | - |
