| dc.description | The purpose of this article is to provide a critical review of the documentary film ‘La educación prohibida’ (released in August 2012 and available online) from a perspective that focuses mainly on the meaning attached to the caricaturesque representation of conventional education and how this negative depiction is used to create a contrast with different methodological approaches that are equally simplified and that embrace a more ‘holistic’ and game-based approach.
