| dc.description | Este texto discute las nociones más difundidas actualmente sobre los procesos de globalización de las economías latinoamericanas, que la ubican a principios o mediados del siglo XIX y propone una cronología distinta, más larga. Dicha propuesta recoge una amplia bibliografía previa poco considerada en las contribuciones recientes. A la vez se discute más en detalle los efectos del cambio en la forma de integrarse en la economía mundial desde inicios del siglo XIX, especialmente en el plano de la desigualdad interregional al interior del territorio latinoamericano. | - |
| dc.description | This paper aims to discuss the most wide spread notions regarding globalization processes in Latin American economies, which set them at the early or mid-19th century, in the means of establishing a different, longer chronology. A manifold of earlier literature on the subject, little taken into account by recent studies, is here given back its due merits. At the same time, the effects of changes in the ways of integrating into world economy from the early 19th century are here addressed in detail, particularly as concerns interregional inequality in Latin America. | - |
