| dc.description | A partir de sus antecedentes grecorromanos, la Fedra de Séneca se inscribe en la tradición, pero al mismo tiempo la modifica conforme a su contexto de producción neroniano y a los principales ejes de su poética trágica. Desde una perspectiva estilístico-poética, explicitaremos los modos en que las pasiones de Hipólito, Fedra y Teseo funcionan como un elemento clave de esta versión de la leyenda. Las manifestaciones corporales de los affectus de los personajes y su entrelazamiento con el devenir dramático ofrecen una importante vía de acceso a la poética de Séneca. | - |
| dc.description | Seneca’s Phaedra simultaneously recalls and modifies its Greco-Roman literary sources, according to its author’s Neronian context, and to the main axes of its tragic poetics. From a stylistic and poetic approach, I aim to examine the way in which the interweaving of Hippolytus’, Phaedra’s and Theseus’ passions functions as a pivotal feature of this Roman tragedy. The somatic expressions of their affectus and its interactions with dramatic action offer important insights into Senecan poetics. | - |
