| dc.description | En la Argentina, el sector eléctrico ha venido experimentando fuertes cambios en su matriz de insumos y técnicas de generación que, al menos desde mediados de la década de 1990, ponen en evidencia problemas y limitantes estructurales del proceso de desarrollo, tanto hacia el interior del sistema energético como en su vinculación con todo el tejido socioeconómico nacional. El artículo se centra en el análisis del uso y consumo de hidrocarburos en el área de generación eléctrica en la Argentina contemporánea a través de distintos indicadores básicos y devuelve una imagen sintética del panorama actual. La problemática se resume en los siguientes aspectos sectoriales: fosilización y ensuciamiento de la matriz eléctrica, escasez de hidrocarburos nacionales, ineficiencia energética y dependencia interna y externa. Aplicamos una metodología basada en el análisis de datos de series temporales y, complementariamente, en la revisión de documentos especializados. | - |
| dc.description | In Argentina, the electricity sector has been undergoing major changes in its matrix of inputs and generation techniques that, at least since the mid-1990s, highlight structural problems and limitations of the development process, both within the system energy and their link to the entire national socio-economic system. The article focuses on the use and consumption of hydrocarbons in the area of electricity generation in contemporary Argentina through different basic indicators and gives a synthetic image of the current scene. The problem is summarized following sectoral issues: fossilization and fouling of the power matrix, shortage of domestic oil, energy inefficiency and internal and external dependence. We applied a methodology based on the analysis of time data series and additionally specialized in reviewing documents. | - |
