| dc.description | El presente trabajo pretende examinar el potencial teórico de las reflexiones hechas por los pensadores de la antigüedad respecto del poder imperial, en tanto poder político determinado y en cuanto a su relación con las constituciones políticas (politeias) de la polis. En este sentido, se propone analizar los conceptos de kratos y arkhé en cuanto a sus posibilidades teóricas (especificidad, alcances y límites) en el contexto de la Atenas clásica con el fin de recuperar, por un lado, la noción de que los conceptos y las ideas políticas son una producción histórica-social y, por otro, que en el caso particular de los griegos de la antigüedad hablar de historia política no supone una restricción del análisis, sino una ampliación, dado que se trata de una sociedad en que la política constituye la práctica en torno a la cual se organizan las demás prácticas sociales. | - |
| dc.description | This paper aims at examining the theoretical potential of the reflections made by thinkers of the Ancient times regarding imperial power, as determinate political power and as it relates to the political constitutions (politeias) of the polis. In this respect, it intends to analyze the concepts of kratos and arkhé in terms of their theoretical possibilities (specificity, range and limits) within the context of classical Athens, in order to recover, on the one hand, the notion that political concepts and ideas are a socio-historical production, and, on the other, the fact that in the particular case of the Ancient Greeks all talk about politics does not imply a restriction to analysis but rather an extension of it, because it pertains to a society where policy constitutes the practice around which all other social practices are organized. | - |
