| dc.description | El presente artículo aborda la cooperación internacional en ciencia y tecnología recuperando la voz de los investigadores que llevan a cabo dichas actividades. Para ello se toman como estudio de casos tres centros de investigación de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, que tienen importantes actividades de vinculación internacional. En una primera instancia se realiza una revisión sobre la literatura referente a la cooperación internacional en ciencia y tecnología, con el fin de establecer el enfoque teórico a utilizar para el presente estudio. En segundo lugar, con el objetivo de situar al lector, se realiza una breve descripción de los grupos de investigación estudiados. Finalmente, se analiza el origen de las relaciones de cooperación que mantienen los grupos de investigación estudiados, las razones que llevan a los investigadores a vincularse con sus pares en el resto del mundo y las implicancias que tiene la cooperación internacional en ciencia y tecnología en la producción de conocimiento. | - |
| dc.description | This article examines international cooperation in science and technology through the voices of the researchers who carry out these activities. Its ideas are backed by a case study of three research centers of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, which have significant international outreach activities. The authors firstly review the literature on international cooperation in science and technology, in order to establish a correct theoretical approach. Secondly, they offer a brief description of the three research groups included in the study. Finally, the authors analyze the origin of the relations of cooperation that bind the research groups studied, the reasons that lead researchers to engage with peers living in other parts of the world, and the implications of international cooperation in science and technology in knowledge production | - |
